UAH Property Management recognizes that strict compliance to the regulations published by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) and the other state agencies tasked with oversight and enforcement of the LIHTC Section-42 regulations are absolutely essential in the management of Section-42 and Section-8 properties. To ensure compliance, we have a dedicated team of compliance professionals in the UAH Compliance Division, under the supervision of a Compliance Director. Our clients may also select another outside compliance advisor, if desired. UAH Compliance Division reviews and approves all new leases and re-certifications, conducts periodic on-site audits, and provides compliance training for our employees. In addition, UAH Compliance Division representatives supervise the set-up of all new communities (lease-ups and newly acquired management accounts).
